    Description

    This vintage postcard features a portrait of Princess Eudoxia Von Bulgarien (1898-1985). Eudoxia was the daughter of King Ferdinand of Bulgaria. Her brother became King (Boris III). She never married. She acted as the first lady of Bulgaria until her brother's marriage. In 1944 she was arrested and tortured by the Communists . When she was released she fled the country with the rest of the Royal family. She settled in Germany. The portrait of Princess Eudoxia see on this postcard was taken by photographer, H. C. Kosel in Vienna, Austria. The photograph is from 1913. This postcard is in very good condition (see scans).
